MOTHER'S DAY
There are things that cannot be taught.
They are inherited.
Three generations separate Don Antonio Fluxá from his
grandchildren. What began in his grandfather's workshop lives on
in every pair that today bears the name Lottusse: a
learned gesture, a way of looking, a way of
making that is written in no manual.
The legacy is not taught.
It is passed on. Maribel Fluxá and Aina Fluxá are respectively part of the fourth and fifth generation of Lottusse.

I remember how my mother
would put on the movie Spirit for me,
and I would be fascinated,
feeling a mix of
admiration and emotion.
From a very young age, even before understanding
many things, I already felt a
special attraction to horses.
My grandfather, Antonio Fluxá,
never rode but was fascinated
by the nobility
and elegance of horses,
and he passed that love
for them on to me.
Today I can say that horses are not just
a part of my life, they are a part of me.
They have been present in my growth, in my learnings,
in my emotions.

They have helped me become who I am, thanks to my mother,
and they continue to accompany me in
who I want to be.
