Biel Cañellas,
setting our creative direction
Since he witnessed the opening of the Lottusse store in Barcelona, the company's second national store, Biel Cañellas, the creative director of the brand, has experienced essential moments in the internal development. Trained in the great Italian fashion houses, he saw from the hand of Armani, Romeo Gigli, or Stone Island the evolution of an industry in which everything was to be done. Today he leads the project, giving the vision of it through a large team of creative professionals.
After experiencing the fashion boom in the 90s with Prêt-à-porter, Cañellas was able to witness how the beginning of the century brought the rise of the French Grand Maisons with it. After more than 30 years of making Lottusse his own voice, today he works on team coordination, focusing on men's collections.

"We have to agree with fashion, without being fashion"

The Mediterranean environment, on its part, gives his inspiration all the color, freshness, and solidity necessary to capture our company identity. Tools in which he finds the strength of indisputable roots, which have helped him to give birth to the content specially developed for each collection.
"Contemporary collections, without losing our attributes, is the main challenge we face"
Cañellas found in that phrase of Don Antonio Fluxá the necessary support to evolve in his work: "We have to agree with fashion, without being fashion." A pact that has allowed us to transmit our essence, inviting us to renew year after year the intensity with which we design increasingly versatile garments, with greater autonomy and lightness.
The work of Biel Cañellas finds its support in a team of professionals, who together with him form a fundamental tandem for the development of new concepts, the selection of raw materials, and their manufacture. A cyclical fashion adapted to our classics with much more comfortable products, and new ideas that we will be able to see in the coming seasons, which promise a much more casual future.
