Where craft meets art
This is how we presented Crafted on Demand in Madrid.
A few days ago, we privately opened the galleries of the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum to a small group of guests. Together we traced the history of fashion painting by painting, and in every work we found a gesture we recognise: the cut of the leather, the patient stitching, the time that cannot be rushed.
The evening continued around a table. Between toasts and conversation, we presented the idea we had long been imagining: a shoe that begins with you.
